Eric Ybañez is a melodic metal, AOR, and hard rock vocalist based in Brisbane, Australia. Born in the Philippines and raised in Australia, he began performing at age eight and fronted several bands before stepping away from music for over three decades to raise a family and work as a nurse. Now returning with renewed fire, his debut solo album Because Of Love—set for release in 2025—delivers powerful vocals, soaring melodies, and messages of hope, perseverance, and redemption rooted in faith and life experience.
